Tɔgbui Đeitse Ⅶ Foundation
The Đeitse Foundation is a Non-Profit Community-Based Organization established to help community development programs such as building a Community Health Center, Subsistence Farming for food security in the local community, and Educational Support for children to complete high school.
And to bring income-generating activities into Awate Traditional Area in the Volta-Region of Ghana. Tɔgbui is extending His hand to all to help us in this development effort as the regional house of the chief.
We have made significant progress in development by building a community health center. However, a lot still needs to be completed. This led to the founding of ‘The Đeitse Foundation.
GOAL:
- To Provide Basic Health Services within the locality.
- Farming to Increase Food Production and Income
- Educational Scholarship and Support for Children
- Reduction of Vicious Cycle of Poverty due to Unemployment
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
To improve the quality of life in Awate Traditional area and surrounding communities. Therefore, the prime motive of the honorary chief is to treat the community with the best.
VICIOUS CYCLE OF HEALTH AND POVERTY:
There is a recognized strong relationship between Health and Poverty which works in both directions: Income Poverty leads to Poor Health outcomes, and adverse health outcomes contribute to Income Poverty. Therefore, factors associated with Income Poverty are also determinants of ill health.
